Littleton Counselor, Couples Therapist & Marriage Counselor
Cherie Trentini specializes in marriage counseling and individual therapy in our Littleton-Highlands Ranch office. She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy by drawing on her training and clinical experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, sexual trauma and pregnancy related issues.
Cherie is passionate about working with individuals, couples and families. She believes that providing her clients with a safe, secure and empathetic environment is the first step in the healing process. Cherie helps her individual clients work though their challenges in ways that create new and positive experiences that lead to real change and wholeness in their lives. As a marriage therapist, she supports couples in improving communication, reestablishing respect, restoring trust and strengthening their connection as a couple.
Cherie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She also has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio, where she also enjoyed studying Theology. Additionally, she is a licensed Zumba and Fitness Instructor and an avid ballroom dancer. Cherie takes pride in being a counselor because she enjoys engaging people to discover their strengths while also empowering them to live their life with passion and purpose.
